This month’s special guest is Alex Philips, Economic Development Manager for Burleson, TX. Alex has served the City of Burleson for eleven years, previously as the Economic Development Coordinator and Engineering Development Coordinator.

The goal of his team is to bring business to Burleson and provide the resources needed to see business expand. The team leads the recruitment and retention efforts for the industrial and commercial growth of the community. They are the story tellers to potential businesses but more importantly are the team that gives our existing businesses the tools they need to succeed in our community. By understanding the key drivers of each client, they present the community’s opportunities and incentive packages customized to meet the needs of each company. They strive each day to make a greater impact with their citizens and their community.
