This month’s special guest is Christine Bryant, Director of Business Retention and Expansion for the Corpus Christi (Texas) Regional Economic Development Corporation. In addition to supporting existing industry, Christine is championing the Federal Opportunity Zones programming for the Coastal Bend and spearheading redevelopment, small business education and investor resources within the region’s numerous opportunity zones census tracts. She has significant experience in disaster recovery including the 2011 Joplin Missouri EF-5 tornado and 2017 Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
Christine is a Board Member for Citizens for Education Excellence and serves on the Coastal Bend Council of Governments Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee and the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Education and Workforce Committee. She is a graduate of Missouri State University, the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute and is an IEDC Certified Economic Developer.
