This month’s episode of Economic Development Secrets features Dan Tobergte, President/CEO of Northern Kentucky Tri-ED. He leads a team of ten highly-skilled employees and reports to three Boards of Directors. Tri-ED is the economic development organization for the counties of Boone, Campbell and Kenton in Northern Kentucky as part of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. Tri-ED provides economic development services for existing business retention and expansion, entrepreneurial support and marketing for HQ office projects, R&D and advanced manufacturing. Mr. Tobergte, a Kentucky attorney, is a native of Northern Kentucky and lives in Hebron with his wife Wendy and five of their seven children – with two older sons serving in the U.S. Military, one as an Air Force Pilot and the other in the U.S. Army, a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
