This episode of Economic Development Secrets features Nathan Tafoya. Nathan is an economic development professional celebrating 10 years in economic development. He currently resides in West Texas as the Executive Director for the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation and the Lamesa Economic Alliance Project. He served as the Research Director and Vice President of Business Development for the Rio Rancho Economic Development Corporation from 2007 to 2014. In 2014, he was recruited to develop and manage the NM Economic Development Department’s Business Resource Center.
Nathan earned his Bachelor’s at the University of Arizona and his MBA at the University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management in December 2013 with a concentration in the Management of Technology.
Nathan published a children’s book entitled “The Great Cricket Picket” in the summer of 2017. It is available in paperback and hardcover from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other national distributors. “The Great Cricket Picket” is also available as an interactive mobile app for both iOS and Android. Nathan is the creator and owner of Sanitaryum, a clean humor blog with more than 100,000 followers across its combined social media platforms. Nathan is also married with three children.
