Michelle Geller is the Economic Development Manager for the City of Escondido in North San Diego County. Michelle started her public service career in 2002 at the City of Sunnyvale in the San Francisco Bay Area where she worked with the city’s neighborhood groups and non-profits on community engagement programs. In 2006, she relocated to the San Diego area to work for the City of Escondido focusing on economic development and communications. Michelle assists new and expanding businesses with navigating the development process, works collaboratively with her counterparts along the 78 Corridor to promote the region, and tells anyone who will listen about the great things happening in Escondido.
Michelle holds a BA in English from Chico State University (making her highly qualified to work with the region’s large craft beer industry) and is a member of the California Association of Local Economic Development and the International Economic Development Council. Michelle resides in Oceanside with her husband and son.
